Since American motor companies have been in the news so much lately,
I thought this video would be fun to share.
It's an old 1950s commercial for Ford.
The 1950s was a big decade for car sales.
The Great Depression was ending and more families
could afford homes and vehicles.
I admit I'm sort of jealous of this commercial though
since my husband and I share one vehicle.
It's more socially acceptable these days
for a wife to drive her husband to and from work.
Plus, our economy isn't exactly wonderful.
It's not so easy anymore to afford two car payments - even for a Ford.
